genzaiは、近江の旧い商家の建物で、手仕事や工芸の作品を紹介するギャラリーです。
この冬、滋賀を飛び出し、親交の深い作り手達と共にはじめて沖縄の地でキャラバンを開きます。
今回の展示では、古くから受け継がれてきた知恵や技術をもとにした「いまを生きる手仕事」を紹介します。
沖縄の皆様や、この時期に旅行で沖縄に来る方がいましたら、ぜひお立ち寄り下さい。

Genzai is a gallery that showcases handicrafts and crafts in the building of an old merchant’s house in Omi.
This winter, the gallery will leave Shiga and hold a caravan in Okinawa for the first time.
This exhibition will introduce “handicrafts that live in the present” based on wisdom and techniques that have been handed down since ancient times.
